Transportation, A key investment sector in Africa

The transport sector is at the heart of Africa's economic development. From 18 to 20 September in Abidjan, the African Development Bank held a crucial event: the Transport Forum. The theme "Africa on the Move – Accelerating Sustainable Transport Connectivity and Logistics" highlights the importance of strengthening infrastructure to support the continent's economic integration.

With $13 billion invested and more than 18,000 kilometers of roads built, the AfDB is taking concrete action to improve mobility and trade in Africa. One more step towards stronger connectivity and more sustainable logistics.
