Power Africa project

As part of the Power Africa project, a U.S. government presidential initiative launched in 2013 to improve access to reliable electricity to support economic growth in sub-Saharan Africa, the DRC will receive an investment of US$15.5 million. On a four-day visit to the DRC, the coordinator of Power Africa, Richard Nelson, made the announcement on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in front of the press gathered in the commune of Gombe, in Kinshasa.

With abundant natural resources, a skilled workforce, and a growing need for infrastructure, the DRC is ready to welcome investments that will transform the country's economic landscape. This funding marks the beginning of a new era of opportunities for visionary investors ready to participate in the transformation of this African giant.
